The Motorola Vanguard 6425 is a member of the Vanguard 6400 Series: a new class of innovative, multiservice, RISC-processor based products. The Vanguard 6425 is a multiservice router optimized for small branch offices that depend on efficiently consolidating legacy protocols (SNA/SDLC, BSC, etc.) with LAN traffic over dedicated or switched X.25, IP, Frame Relay, Point-to-Point, Multipoint, ISDN, and Nx64K (FT1/FE1) connections.
