HomePortal 1000S includes an integrated ADSL modem, and a professional grade firewall that extends beyond NAT/PAT security, by using Stateful Packet Inspection, providing the most advanced network protection available. HomePortal is easy to install and is pre-configured to work with most broadband service providers. Connection types include your choice of Ethernet, home telephone lines (HomePNA),and direct USB. HomePortal’s browser-based interface makes managing your home network simple, and it’s easy to upgrade the HomePortal software.

Requirements:
Supports Windows 98,98 Second Edition, NT 4.0,2000,ME, XP,or Mac OS 8.65 or higher (including MAC OSX).
At least one computer must have a CD-ROM drive.
All computers to be connected to the HomePortal must have a network interface card (Ethernet, HomePNA 2.0/1.0, available USB port, or wireless card) or available USB port (Windows 98, 2000, or ME only).
A networking adapter is required for each additional computer or device connected to the local network. Depending on HomePortal model selected, the following types of adapters may be used.
